Common Questions
How do I prepare?
When preparing for treatment, make sure you are hydrated and avoid Advil, Aleve, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Naprosyn, (all non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents), Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver, Essential Fatty Acids (EPA, DHA), for at least 1 week prior to and 2 days after your treatment, unless prescribed by your doctor.
What can I expect during my visit?
During your treatment, we will quickly draw your blood, then you get to relax while we process your blood to isolate the platelet-rich plasma portion. Then we will inject the PRP into areas on the face that have volume loss.
