CLARA was founded by Dr. Rebecca Bialas and Dr. Joanna Hooten, both board-certified dermatologists with the highest level of knowledge about skin health. We believe in the importance of dermatologist-led treatment plans, and your skin care plan will always be overseen by a dermatologist at CLARA. We also have an incredible team of providers, trained in CLARA’s consistent approach to skin care, that work with us to deliver the excellent experience you’ve come to expect from CLARA.
CLARA Dermatology is a direct pay practice, which means we do not accept insurance plans and are out-of-network for all insurance plans. We have transparent pricing for all visits and treatments. We are not a concierge practice and do not charge a membership fee. All patients are welcome at Clara Dermatology.
For patients with private insurance, we can provide you with a coded receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, or to have charges applied to your deductible. Not all insurance companies allow reimbursement for services. It is the responsibility of the patient to check with their insurance providers about rules regulating reimbursement.
Clara Dermatology is a direct care practice and does not participate in Medicare or other government health insurance plans. We welcome Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare patients at Clara Dermatology, but due to government regulations, patients with Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, or other government insurance programs cannot be reimbursed by their insurance for services rendered.
Patients of Clara Dermatology with private insurance may choose to submit a coded receipt to their insurance company for a refund of some of their bill or to have charges applied to their deductible. Clara Dermatology makes no guarantee that you will be reimbursed for these claims. We recommend that you check with your insurance company with any questions. Please request a coded receipt at the time of your visit.
Due to government regulations, patients with Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, or other government insurance programs can be seen at Clara Dermatology for medical services but cannot be reimbursed by their insurance for services rendered. Patients must sign a Private Contract form prior to their visit to contract directly with Clara Dermatology for their care.
