What to Expect During Treatment
LED light therapy is a relaxing and pain-free treatment. Protective eyewear is supplied and you will be comfortably positioned either sitting or lying down, then a panel of red and/or blue lights are directed at the area to be treated for a set amount of time depending on the treatment goals. The energy is generated quickly, yet the skin remains cool and is safe for all skin types. LED light therapy can be performed alone or as a complement to other treatments, including neuromodulators and fillers, or acne treatments.

LED light therapy is a gentle, non-invasive approach to skin rejuvenation without discomfort or downtime. Low-level wavelengths of red and/or blue light stimulate cellular energy production and thus skin cell regeneration and collagen production. LED light therapy can improve the appearance of acne, rosacea, wrinkles, fine lines, scars, and discoloration. LED light therapy reduces inflammation in the skin, and can expedite wound healing.
How does LED Light Therapy work?
The wavelengths of light used in LED light therapy stimulate cellular mitochondria to increase energy production in cells, thus allowing them to regenerate more quickly and repair damage more efficiently. Inflammation is reduced, collagen breakdown is slowed, and new collagen and elastin are produced. This process is known as photobiomodulation.
LED Light Therapy Maintenance
There’s no downtime required after the treatment. Typically several treatment sessions are recommended, but the final number will depend on the condition being treated. Results are progressive and will continue to build with each session. Eventually, treatment intervals can be extended to just a few times a year to maintain the improvements obtained.
