Board-Certified Medical Esthetician
I have over 30 years in the beauty industry and am a self-professed “Beauty Junkie.” I started my career as a makeup artist. After learning about cosmetic ingredients and their effect on the skin, I decided to combine my passions for makeup artistry and skincare. I became a certified esthetician in 1998 and have extensive experience in corrective peels, anti-aging treatments, advanced exfoliation techniques, acne, rosacea, and brow shaping. My specialty is non-traumatic chemical peels, results-oriented skincare, and flawless makeup for ALL occasions.
The Fun Stuff
I still consider myself a newbie to North Carolina having moved here from Arizona with my husband Patrick. I love living in a state with all four seasons and my favorite time of the year in the in fall when I get to break out the sweaters and tall boots, because I might also be a “Fashion Junkie” too.
I especially love to help women (and men) find and create a full expression of themselves by highlighting their natural beauty, style, and glamour. I believe you glow differently when you’re happy. Beauty from the inside out doesn’t rinse off.
Why I Love Dermatology
I love that the skincare industry is dynamic and ever-changing. Joining Dr. Hooten and Dr. Bialas allows me to further my education in science-based, holistic skincare. I’m excited to use that knowledge in creating customized treatments with cutting-edge ingredients that deliver visible and positive results. The best foundation for makeup is healthy skin.
Lip gloss that doesn’t come off as I sip that glass of rose. I also love planning and hosting dinner parties complete with games and giggles among good friends.
Everything! Because it makes me look younger 🙂
Youth Boost Serum with Deep Sleep – my favorite combo that works together!
Watching all of the Bravo TV’s Real Housewives franchises. If I were a reality TV Housewife my tagline would be “Beauty might not bring happiness, but happiness always brings beauty”, or “I just want clear skin, good eyebrows, and $1 million.”
